Charmi about ‘Mantra 2’:

Southern Telugu Film Actress Charmi Kaur, who recently signed on the next project of upcoming Telugu horror & thriller "Mantra 2", addresses to media that the film ‘Mantra 2’ is not a sequel to the past Telugu hit movie "Mantra".

"'Mantra 2' is not a sequel. It won’t continue the story of 'Mantra', but it is of a different story. Just like the story of Mantra, Mantra 2 story will also surely thrill the audience. I never thought I would be part of this project titled ‘Mantra 2’, director's narration of the story took me by surprise and I immediately agreed to be part of this project," Charmi says.

Coming to Mantra:

Mantra is a Telugu thriller film starring Sivaji, Charmy Kaur and Kausha in lead roles. This film was directed by Tulasi Ram and produced by two producers Ravi Prakash and Kalyan Ram. Mantra was released on December 14, 2007 which recorded a hit talk among viewers.

Story of Mantra:

The story of Mantra revolves around a haunted farmhouse named Mantra Nilayam, which is owned by Mantra (Charmi). She tries to sell the home however due to mysterious deaths at the house; no one dares to come forward to buy it. Lastly, a professor agrees to buy the property on the condition that someone stays in the house for three months. Hero (Sivaji), who looks after land-settlements, gets ready to live in that house for the commission which will be given by Mantra once, the house is sold. The remaining part of the film is about how Hero solves the mystery behind the deaths.

Cast & Shooting details:

The regular shooting of "Mantra 2" will start from Sep 26 in Hyderabad. N. Sathish, who is a debut director in Tollywood, will direct this flick.
Along with Charmi other lead roles in the film will be played by Tanikella Bharani, Tagubothu Ramesh, Hema and Rao Ramesh.
